ABOUT KENNETH S. STERNBERG
KENNETH S. STERNBERG graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with High Honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1979. In 1983 he received his Juris Doctor degree from the Cornell Law School, where he was an editor of the International Law Journal, a member of the Moot Court Board, and a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Negotiation Techniques.
Mr. Sternberg is the co-author of “State Department Determination of Political Offense: Death Knell for the Political Offense Exception in Extradition Law,” which appeared in Vol 15: 1 of the Case Western Journal of International Law, and the author of “Lump Sum Child Support Determinations,” and “Using Life Insurance Clauses in Marital Agreements” which both appeared in the New York Law Journal. In addition, Mr. Sternberg has lectured before the New York State Bar Association on matrimonial appeals.
Mr. Sternberg is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale Hubbell.Mr. Sternberg has been admitted to the bars of the State of New York and the Eastern and Southern Districts of the United States District Court for 30 years. In that time he has acquired a broad-based legal background with an emphasis on commercial and matrimonial litigation and real estate matters.
